What are Flight Pursers?
A flight purser is a senior cabin crew member responsible for overseeing the inflight service and managing the cabin crew team. We can say that see is the team captain or supervisor of all the cabin crew members.
Flight pursers usually have more experience and may have undergone additional training in leadership and emergency procedures compared to junior cabin crew.
Usually, it takes up to 5 to 10 years of Cabin Crew experience in order to apply for a Flight Purser position.
Cabin Crew members are those who serve meals during flights, as well as demonstrate the safety features of the aircraft. They are also the ones that assist the passengers when boarding, during the flight and departing the plane.
Here are some of the basic roles of a Flight Purser:
- Supervises the cabin crew.
- Coordinates the inflight service and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
