Air Asia is one of the leading budget airlines in the region. They fly thousands of passengers everyday here in the Philippines and abroad.
As a passenger, it is best to know how Air Asia operates in terms of their check in baggage service as well as their policy on their hand carry baggage.
It is important to know for some of their rules might be different from other airlines. Check out this quick guide if you are flying Air Asia soon:
Like before, each passenger is has up to 7 kgs of hand carry baggage allowance. They can bring up to 2 pieces of bags or luggage with them.
One item must be placed in the overhead bin, and smaller bag must fit under the passenger’s seat.
Baggage to be placed inside the overhead bin must not be more than 56 cm X 36 cm X 23 cm in size.
Smaller bags like laptop bags or bag for infants must be within these dimensions: 40 cm X 30 cm X 10 cm.
Passengers are allowed to carry liquids, gels and aerosols provided that they are inside 100ml containers.
If you have more luggage or boxes with you, best avail Air Asia’s pre-paid check in baggage service. Here, you can check in multiple bags, boxes or luggage as long as they are within the weight limit of your availed package.
However, there is a weight limit for individual bags for check in. A single luggage must not weigh more than 32 kilograms.
